One more step from Google for the enhancement of local search results- Pigeon Update which has been rolled out to UK, Canada and Australia recently.
Pigeon Update is a new artifact of Goggle for more practical and significant search results which are attached to the web search ranking signals. In fact it is an update in the field of web search and for its new versatility it has been named as Pigeon Update. The most imperative factor which has been incorporated is that it will maintain the location and distance to provide better search results.
The updates and features in detail has been kept behind the curtain, but according to Google, the new launch will surely enhance the searching process regarding more efficient search results, referrals and leads which must be experimented by the local search users and business firms. According to Goggles report the new algorithm will also have a blow over knowledge graph, spelling correction, synonyms and others.
Hence, the update has been made in the last week and it will surely have a strong crash on the local merchants over UK, Canada and Australia and the ranking changes followed by new referrals will also start a new era in the searching process. Ultimately it has been designed to alter the local listings along with the preferences of local directory sites.
