Victory for Zebra Techies Solution as Police Uncover Fake Job Racket Targeting Job Seekers with Phony Work-From-Home Offers

Cyber criminals, CAs, bank employees, and advocates collaborated to exploit innocent victims seeking employment and financial stability.

In a significant breakthrough, cybercrime investigators have nabbed a group involved in a fake job racket targeted at unsuspecting job seekers seeking remote employment. These criminals had a very clever way of modus operandi posed as well-established organizations, and their crimes were exposed and prosecuted.

Their sneaky operation to swindle job-seekers was exposed when several reputable organizations, including Zebra Techies Solution, lodged formal police complaints with the Cyber Crime Police Station in different parts of the country after learning their brand names were being misused to deceive and rip off unsuspecting job-seekers. The crooks guised as Human Resource officials of those well-established companies, fooling innocent individuals with Work-From-Home job offers.

The crook syndicate worked with precision and collaboration from Chartered Accountants, bank employees, and advocates from different well-known financial institutions as reported in several leading digital media. 

Victims were tricked into paying various fees, mislabeled as processing costs or training fees, as a prerequisite to starting the alleged job. A deceptive racket entangled the victims, who complied to secure employment and financial stability.

"We didn’t take time to report to the police formally as soon as we got a hang of something being cooked in the name of job offers where our company’s name was being misused to lure the unsuspecting job seekers. We promptly filed a police complaint at the Cyber Crime Police Station, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, on March 27, 2023 and our complaint reference ID is Part IV No. 34," said Mr. Anirban Das, the CEO of Zebra Techies Solution. "Today, we are so happy because of the successful busting of this mischief job racket. It has brought relief to the victims and safeguarded the reputation of organizations like ours."

Mr. Das also stressed the need to remain on guard in this digital world, taking this as a serious heads-up. 

This illegal involvement of cyber criminals, CAs, bank employees, advocates from well-known organizations is a serious concern for all at large and everyone should cross-check the claims being made to them by someone unknown to them and never transfer money in exchange for a job. Cyber criminals have hundreds of mischievous means for duping and swindling people.
